Bermuda Healthcare services

Bermuda HealthCare Services is a private medical facility comprised of 3 family practitioners and a total medical services staff of more than 15 team members.  As such, we are the largest private provider of medical services in Bermuda. Through our affiliation with US based Lahey Clinic, of Tufts University Medical School, we extend our specialities to: endocrinology; rheumatology; pulmonology; allergist and neurology.

Diagnostic Imaging 

Open MRI

Our state of the art GE scanner is particularly comfortable for patients who are overweight or claustrophobic. 

Digital X-Ray

BHCS uses a quantum imaging system allowing for upright and supine images of the body, ultimately allowing our staff to process x-rays in minutes.

Using this technology, BHCS offers patients the ability, via walk-in or appointment, to secure Department of Immigration chest X-Rays via CD or film usually in 45 minutes or less.

Ultrasound

BHCS uses the new GE LOGIQ E9, which has allowed for enhanced ultrasound image quality and productivity.

CT Scan

Computed Tomography Scans, commonly refered to as "C-T" or CAT scans is a sophisticated diagnostic procedure capable of showing anotomy at different levels within the body, a feature not possible with X-Ray technology.  BHCS uses a Siemens Somatom Sensation 64, which is one of the fastest and most advanced 64 slice CT systems.  The Seimens 64 slice scanner offers quick, painless exams using powerful cutting-edge CT technology which can capture thousands of images in seconds.

Echocardiology

Using the GE LOGIQ E9, our diagnostic imaging technologists, provide echocardiograms or ECHOs enabling analysis of heart conditions. Our technologists hold multiple certifications and credentials in diagnostic imaging.

Executive Physicals

Since our inception, BHCS has offered comprehensive physical examinations, including laboratory studies.  The examination is a thorough one and patients should be prepared to spend a minimum of 2 hours in the clinic.

Visiting Lahey Specialists

BHCS has partnered with Lahey Clinic to offer medical services not typically offered in Bermuda.  Lahey Clinic, affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine, is an award winning facility with highly experienced doctors based in Burlington, Massachusets.  We offer these services to our patients as well as referring Bermuda physicians .  Visit our Lahey Clinic page to learn more about our specialists areas of expertise.
